Today is the 30th anniversary of the publication of a prophetic newspaper called The Last Trumpet . I was involved with Willie and Dave Hauser who actually published this newspaper. They put together this prophetic newspaper as if it were an actual paper reporting events. The lead article is "Russia Invades the Middle East." The paper reports a world-wide economic collapse, incredible natural disasters, the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, and other events related to end time prophecy.
This newspaper was actually 30 years too soon. Back in 1980, we distributed 200,000 copies, but interest waned in Bible prophecy so we stopped. In September 2008 when Lehman Brothers collapsed I thought of The Last Trumpet and contacted the Hausers about reprinting it.
At first they were reluctant, but I applied pressure as I thought NOW is the time. They finally agreed and reprinted it exactly as it was 30 years ago, only now it is in color. Over 120,000 copies of the reprinted The Last Trumpet already have been distributed. We even have a contact in Jerusalem, who is using it as a witnessing tool and getting into magazine shops!
The Last Trumpet is a witnessing tool you can use to share with people what Bible prophecy states about the time we now live. Our efforts in 1980 were just a trial run, but now is the time, as what was written in The Last Trumpet 30 years ago is coming together before our eyes.
